Socials

Borrels, parties, and more. Mundus Society tries to make sure to constantly innovate and keep things fun. Many logistical aspects do not stop when it comes to these events. The socials committee is very small and acts as a support role and a window into the hard work behind our board's event manager. This role requires someone with an understanding of nightlife, electronic music, setting up events, and someone who can stay busy the entire night. Due to the size of this committee make sure you fit the criteria before applying.

Formals committee

We are here to provide an upgraded student experience. This means events with employers can be a useful resource or an end-of-year ball that makes sure to be memorable. The opportunities are endless in the formals committee. Here event planning and organization are key, as you will be building events for students from the ground up.

Community Structure

Your tasks fall into 2 major roles. First is aiding and moderating our general assemblies. This includes understanding policies, relaying information to the board, and having patience to mediate lengthy debates. Your role is a crucial building block to transform the association's rules into something the members want. GA’s only happen 3-4 times a year, thus this committee transforms into more of a support role for the internal officers. Many venues, equipment, and finances are required to be sorted for the societies and you would play a part in this.

First-year and Acquisitions

First years are the cornerstone of all associations. They turn to associations for guidance and new friends to start their experience as students in The Hague. Your task within this committee is to ensure that the introduction weekends for all institutions in The Hague have a clear and fun representation of Mundus Society to ensure a new wave of ideas and experiences. This committee is tasked to provide activities to settle the first-year students into a new city and possibly a new country.

Altruism

Mundus Society is a new association and thus looks at new trends and ideals within the community of other associations. The Altruism committee aims to use students' voices to give back to the community of The Hague and the world. You will be tasked with hosting charitable events and collaborations throughout the academic year. You will also get involved with the societies of Mundus, helping this with their yearly charitable activity. You will also be helping to organize student welfare events to bring to light issues like mental health.

PR

Without the PR nobody knows what’s going on here at Mundus . This to committee needs people who understand various types of content and have a keen eye for graphic design. Promotion happens through video, photos, posters, and more, so it is a great learning experience for the more creative people in our association.
